I hate to PACK……Love to TRAVEL

I am so fortunate to be heading to Amsterdam and Paris with girlfriends to celebrate one of my dearest friends Birthday. But this packing thing is a daunting task for me……..

First, I am not a good packer, I am an overpacker. I have a hard time deciding what to bring so I opt to bring everything. My goal for this trip is to really try and edit my outfits and not bring my entire closet.

I’ve been searching all different sites for what to pack for a Parisian trip and there is alot out there. The bottom line …BLACK is the answer, which I must admit makes it a bit easier. The other must is a trench coat and of course a scarf.  Full disclosure I tried on every trench coat at the Burberry outlet finally settling on the classic double breasted. The next stumbling block was the suitcase. My girlfriend and I debated and researched this ad nauseum – there are so many choices ; hard cover, soft cover, weight, size, color.  I decided on the Brics Bellagio in an olive, hard cover. We shall see how it works. I also picked up a MZ Wallace tote on the advice of my girlfriend and so glad I got it. Very light but roomy with lots of inside organization pockets.

Leave us a comment on your packing ideas and tips.  Bon Voyage!!!
